    Understanding the GRE Test Format

The GRE General Test is designed for admission into graduate programs worldwide. It evaluates Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing skills.

As with the GRE coaching program, it is important to include opportunities for students to ask questions, solve doubts, and practice advanced-level problem-solving techniques.

Individualized feedback throughout the coaching program helps students improve analytical thinking, vocabulary, and mathematical accuracy. Providing resources such as mock tests, vocabulary lists, essay samples, and quantitative problem sets helps students prepare effectively for the GRE exam.

    Verbal Reasoning Section Format

The GRE Verbal Reasoning section assesses your ability to understand and analyze written material.

Is the GRE Math section harder than high school math?

The math concepts (Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Data) are generally at a high school level. However, the GRE is difficult because the questions are designed to be "tricky" and test your logical reasoning and efficiency rather than just your ability to solve an equation.

How important is learning high-level vocabulary for the GRE?

Very important. The Text Completion and Sentence Equivalence tasks rely heavily on your ability to understand nuanced words. You often need to know the secondary meanings of common words to choose the correct answer in complex sentence structures.

Can I choose which scores to send to universities if I have taken the test twice?

Yes, through the ScoreSelect option. You can choose to send only your most recent scores, or scores from all your test attempts. Universities will only see the specific scores you choose to share with them.
